Harbor Watch Inn

We look forward to continuing the tradition of making all visitors feel like they are in their home away from home.

Whether this is your first visit to the Swan's Island or your 50th, we hope you'll enjoy whatever brings you here...reuniting with family; hiking, biking and swimming; or just getting away from it all.

The Harbor Watch Inn is the only motel on the island.

  • We offer four units starting at $105/night.  All rooms have private entrances, full bathrooms, and can accommodate four people.  Multiple units can be reserved for larger groups.

  • Our second-floor suite is available again for rent as well!

  • Rooms 2 and 4 include full kitchen facilities and balconies overlooking the harbor with views from every window.

  • Rooms 1 and 3 now include kitchenettes so you can prepare basic meals in your room!

  • Centrally located in the Minturn section of the island, we are only minutes from favorite tourist stops like the Burnt Coat Harbor Lighthouse ; the Lobster and Marine Museum; and popular beaches.  This makes us convenient to all of your outdoor activities as well.

Please let us know how we can make your visit special!

A little different...

For our first-time visitors, we can't stress strongly enough what a unique place Swan's Island is.  The island is unbridged, so you have to reach us via ferry.  Make sure you visit our "Getting Here" page for more details.

If you are looking to go a little off the grid, relax, enjoy the outdoors and the simpler things in life, then we can't wait to see you.  If you're looking for shopping and entertainment, this simply may not be the place for you. There are no McDonald's, no strip malls and no movie theaters. And that's exactly what makes people come back year after year!

Our motel does have free wi-fi, so you don't have to completely disconnect, but the suite is the only unit with a TV. We encourage you to get out and about and enjoy all the natural beauty of our little island and participate in community activities.
